The Process

The Process To Rent A Room

1) Submit the RENTER INQUIRY FORM. Enter your desired lease start and end date.

2) A LOCUM HOUSING representative will determine if space is available during your time-frame, as all locations may not be available.

3) A LOCUM HOUSING representative will consider all locations that may be convenient to your place of interest, as not all locations may not have a vacancy.

4) A LOCUM HOUSING representative will contact you by phone or email, regarding your inquiry.

5) If LOCUM HOUSING determines accommodations can be made, professional references will be verified through a professional email address and phone contact. This step can take up to two weeks to verify based upon the institution.

6) LOCUM HOUSING will contact RENTER once the references have been verified. RENTER can view the property directly or through video-chat.

7) LOCUM HOUSING will finalize dates, locations, and accommodations with the RENTER. RENTER will supply a copy of a government issued ID. 

8) LOCUM HOUSING will email the RENTER with the final contact information for both the OWNER and the house location.

9) RENTER and HOMEOWNER connect and determine final move-in and move-out dates and further details.
